Grow and Graze 2019, a collaborative event by RiverMint Dining and Tucker Bush Plants, introduces guests to popular native Australian herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables, and how to use them in your home cooking. Mark Tucek draws on three decades of horticultural experience, offering insights and advice on successfully growing seasonal native plants. Robyne Low, native foods chef and owner of RiverMint Dining, will discuss how to prepare various native ingredients - complete with recipe offering and accompanying canapés.
Tickets include entry to a talk by Mark on growing native edibles, recipe cards and professional tips by RiverMint Dining, question time and a selection of Bunuru-inspired finger foods and creative fermented softdrinks by 14K Brewery.
Selected Tucker Bush plants will be on display and available for purchase. The event is supported by the RiverMint Dining service team, who will serve canapés featuring seasonal native ingredients. Native-infused beverages by Australian small batch producers will also be sold at the RiverMint bar.
The not-to-be-missed event takes place on a lovely autumn evening in the courtyard of Perth City Farm.
